We prepare our Juniper Extract from the fully matured fruit ("berry") of Juniperus communis shrubs which are Certified Organically Grown.To assure optimal extraction of Juniper's bioactive compounds, the fruit is hand-harvested only in late summer or fall (after their color changes from green to bluish-purple) and is then carefully shade-dried and thoroughly extracted.
