A team of industry-leading integrative practitioners helps us to better identify and meet the needs of our professional health care customers.

Our vision for Emerson Ecologics is that we are not only the go-to source of the highest quality nutritional supplements and natural products, but that we are a trusted partner for practitioners in running a successful practice and providing the best health care possible to their patients. We have assembled a remarkable group of highly-regarded leaders in their respective fields to create an invaluable resource to ensure that the voice of our practitioners is incorporated into Emerson’s strategy. The Practitioner Advisory Council for Emerson (PACE) enables us to gain a greater perspective of what is going on in the industry, but most importantly to make sure we are exceeding our customers’ needs.

Composed of four members, the Practitioner Advisory Council for Emerson (PACE) embodies the diverse perspectives and varied experiences of respected leaders in integrative health and medicine. The members of PACE have been selected based on their experience in, and passion for, integrative care, as well as for their involvement in furthering their respective professions. We're very proud to have them working with us.

Peter Bongiorno, ND, LAc

A naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist, Peter Bongiorno, ND, LAc is co-director of Inner Source Health and Vice President of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians. With a neuro-endocrinology background, Dr. Bongiorno has authored and contributed to several natural medicine texts, and is an invited expert writer for the Dr. Oz website and Psychology Today.

Gillian Hanson, ND,

Dr. Gillian Hanson is a naturopathic doctor committed to empowering people to take control of their health and healthcare. After earning her undergraduate degree from Tulane University, her medical career began with graduate work in biomedical ethics from Harvard University before earning her naturopathic medical degree from Bastyr University. She completed the STAIR Residency in Integrative Medicine under the guidance of Dr. Tori Hudson in Portland, OR and currently serves as Director of Medical Operations & Informatics for the San Francisco-based start-up PicnicHealth.

Ronald Hoffman, MD

A medical doctor trained in internal medicine and a licensed acupuncturist, Ronald Hoffman, MD founded and is now the Medical Director of the Hoffman Center—one of New York’s first comprehensive practices for innovative medical care. Past-president and long-term board member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), Dr. Hoffman is also the host of the nationally-syndicated radio program Health Talk.

Diana Noland, MPH, RD, CCN

Dr. Noland is owner of a busy functional nutrition therapy private practice certified in the restoration of wellness along with physician referrals for nutritional support of critically ill patients. Her special interests include fatty acid metabolism, women's health, nutritional oral health and detoxification. Recognized as an expert in the clinical application of functional nutrition therapy, Diana is a frequent international lecturer to health professionals on various functional medicine and integrative nutrition related topics; including featured speaker for the American Dietetic Association FNCE Conference, Faculty for the Institute for Functional Medicine and Chair of the Nutrition Advisory Board of the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
