Products requiring shipment in a cool environment are subject to special shipping procedures due to their sensitive nature.
We have these procedures to ensure customers continue to receive our products in good condition.
Emerson recommends that Heat Sensitive Products ship out for overnight delivery.
Customers who opt for this service level will be extended a 25% discount on overnight book rates with UPS.
USPS orders will be billed at actual cost. Heat Sensitive Products ordered after 6:30 PM EST Thursday or before 6:30 PM EST on Friday will be shipped out Monday when the customer opts for overnight shipping. Returns will not be allowed on any heat sensitive items that are not shipped overnight unless the product was damaged when received and we are notified within 24 hours of the time and date that the customer received their order.
Customers may elect to have their order ship in it’s entirety at the discounted overnight rate or choose to split their order and have only their heat sensitive products ship overnight. If the customer elects to split their order Emerson Ecologics’ regular shipping policies will apply with the exception that the value of the combined orders will determine the shipping charge on the “regular” order.
The customer may opt for overnight Saturday at the full book rate. If the customer does not choose to ship heat sensitive products using overnight delivery then we are unable to allow returns on those items.
If a customer chooses not to have Heat Sensitive Products shipped overnight the customer must take responsibility for the order and agree that we will not accept a return of the heat sensitive item(s).
