Standard Shipping
U.S. orders received by 6:30 pm EST are shipped the same business day they are placed. We pride ourselves on providing fast service at competitive prices. Our shipping and handling fee is a flat rate based on the total order amount (see standard shipping rates below). All professional U.S. orders sent standard shipping (via UPS) will be received within two (2) business days [patient orders within three (3) business days] - guaranteed. Orders shipped to US Post Office Boxes will ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) at the carrier book rate; delivery of these orders will be delayed by one (1) day. We also offer guaranteed Overnight and Saturday Overnight delivery at the carrier book rate (based on weight and distance).

International Orders
To place an international (outside U.S.) order, call 603.656.9778 or place your order online at emersonecologics.com. All international orders are charged UPS book rate (whenever possible). Emerson is not liable for delays or losses due to Customs or import taxes and is unable to refund shipping charges for orders that are denied entry.
Heat Sensitive Shipping Policy
Products requiring shipment in a cool environment (perishable and frozen items) are subject to special shipping procedures due to their sensitive nature to ensure customers receive products in good condition. Emerson recommends that heat sensitive products ship with Overnight delivery. Heat sensitive products ordered after 6:30 pm Thursday and before 6:30 pm on Friday will be shipped out Monday when Overnight delivery is requested. Heat sensitive items are not eligible for return credit.
Drop Ship Orders
Drop ship orders to patients are shipped to arrive within three (3) business days. Standard patient shipping rates apply.
Drop ship orders placed via phone, fax, email or mail will incur an additional handling fee of $3.50 per order (to appear within the shipping and handling charge). Web orders do not incur this drop ship handling fee.
Terms
Orders should be placed via phone or web with payment by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express or COD. COD orders are charged an additional $9.00 processing fee and are available for U.S. delivery only. All mail orders need to be accompanied by a check or money order. Credit terms may also be available; please contact Customer Service for a credit application.
Sales Tax
Items sold by Emerson Ecologics, LLC and shipped to destinations in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Virginia are subject to sales tax in accordance with state and local tax laws. Internet retailers are subject to the same sales tax collection requirements as other retailers and generally required to collect tax in locations where they have a physical presence.

To take advantage of tax-exempt status in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts and/or Virginia, please provide us with a copy of a resale certificate, exemption certificate, or other acceptable proof of your exemption status for each applicable state.

Sales Tax Calculation
Sales tax will be calculated and charged on all taxable items shipped to California, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Virginia, unless acceptable proof of tax-exempt status for the applicable state is received. The tax rate applied to the order will generally be the combined state and local rate for the order’s shipping address. The shopping cart only shows estimated sales tax. Many factors can change between order placement and payment processing that could result in an increase or decrease of the actual sales tax charged. Your order history will display the final total order amount, including all sales tax.
“Qualified Practitioners Only” Product Restrictions
Emerson Ecologics is proud to provide more than 20,000 products to our customers. As a result of our wide selection, several products or product lines are restricted to specific qualified healthcare practitioners and their patients. If there is a product you are interested in purchasing but do not currently have the ability to order, please contact our Customer Service team at 800.654.4432; we may be able to update your credentials on file in order to expand the products available to you and your patients.
Special Order Items
Some products listed on our website and in our catalog are not kept in stock; these items are listed as ‘Special Order Items’ and are ordered upon your request. Special order items ship at the carrier’s book rate and are not eligible for return unless damaged.
Out of Stock Items
If an item ordered is out of stock, you will receive the remainder of your order with the out of stock item on back order. We will ship your out of stock item as soon as it is available, usually within 10–14 business days. You will only be charged for your out of stock item when it is shipped.
Return Policy
As part of Emerson Ecologics’ commitment to quality, we do not resell returned items. You can be confident that every product you receive from Emerson has been kept within our control and under the appropriate conditions from the time received from the manufacturer.
Products are eligible for a return credit within 30 days; heat sensitive products, perishable and special order items are not eligible for return credit. To be credited for returns, you must call 800.654.4432 for a return authorization number. All returns are subject to a returns processing fee.
Damaged Packages
If you receive a package that has been damaged, save the original box and all its contents and call us immediately with the invoice number. We will make every effort to remedy the situation as soon as possible.
